to get back to your question:
difference between cloverleaf and blackline
I THINK the blackline is "just" a trim level. having said that, it's a bloomin stunning motor - it is black with black leather stitched in red and has some nice touches (not least of all the alloys). Comes with bose and some chrome trim - underneath all that, it has same power etc as the JTDm.
The cloverleaf - top level spec "trim" AND gets you Q2 (LSD) AND a sport button that gets you up to 170BHP - switch it on and you have it, switch it off and it's down to the "paltry" (ample for me) 150 BHP.
Please understand that my posts are filled with my daft humour and I think the GT is a great car FULL STOP. But, if I had the choice between the 2 - the blackline would be sidelined until I had, at least, seen the cloverleaf and given it a good look over.
Whateve GT you look at, take a DAMNED GOOD LOOK around the windscreen - make sure the seals fit properly ALL THE WAY ROUND - particularly at the top - Bonnet catches used to fail on the 147 and they would fly open, smash against the windscreen and the roof thereby, more often than not, leading to a crap repair job or the car being a write off....I THINK the same is true of the GT catch? (someone will correct everything I have written for "clarification".
Cloverleaf all the way mate.
