Alfa GT JTDm

new front number plate.

im wanting to get a new number plate for my GT and do away with the black recess behind it.
i was thinking of either getting a smaller plate so it doesnt need to curve around the bumber or go with a square number plate.

whats the laws with these smaller number plates and does anyone have any pics of what a square plate looks like on a gt?

If you want smaller then you need a private plate with less digits.

But then any plate you do fit still has to have the digits a set size, set gaps and a set size border around the outside.

Don't get a square one, it will look terrible.

A 5-chr plate (or 6-chr if the number is 11) will easily fit without the big mounting.

All the regs for plates are on the DVLA website.
