what's typical clutch life 156 2.4 JTD

Shortly after buying my '03 2.4 JTD, the clutch started slipping at full throttle and high gears. This was put down to a groove having worn on the shaft, stopping the bearing before the clutch was fully engaged. After another 25k miles, it has started again. My question is whether it is the same problem, or is the replaced clutch worn out in the relatively short time.
