Remove spinning rusty bolts
So again I come for advice this time for something I assumed would be very quick easy job
So I have a nice shiny new badge to go on the front of my 147 (facelift) so I attempted to remove the three fasteners holding the badge on, first slight effort required came off no problem with ratchet but now the middle and right hand side ones are refusing to come off, they spin but do not un-tighten, just spin, from what I can tell its the whole screw spinning because i cannot see any marks from the fastener spinning on the bolt.
Any suggestions how to get these things off without damaging my car? I have so far tried:
• Copper Grease
I am a little apprehensive to try prying it off with force or using hammer as not too confident on how strong the metal is and worried too much will bend the metal. The other option is drilling it out but as I no longer have a working drill don't really fancy buying one just for this and seems a little OTT.
Seriously why is it always the small jobs that become the biggest headaches?
