That's odd, I've never driven any car where the trip reset itself. I've always had to do it manually.
As for the cruise control, what NSJ means is that when the cruise control is on, it will turn itself off when you press the clutch pedal down. If the cable connected to the clutch pedal to tell the cruise when this happens has become disconnected, then the cruise control will think that you've constantly got the clutch down and be unable to engage in the first place.
Should take a matter of minutes at a dealer to sort out if this is the case.
The windows on the GT are somewhat erratic. Reset them by winding them down and holding the button down for five seconds. I actually have no one-touch on my passenger window, and am probably supposed to, but since it rarely gets used I'm not really bothered. Driver's works fine.
