156 Crank issues

Hi just like to know, how common are crankshaft issues on the 2.5 V6 fitted to the 156. I am thinking of buying one but the thing that is worrying me is that my previous twin spark car suffered a damaged crank due to the previous owner running it low on oil. Obviously all cars can suffer neglect, but is this engine prone in the same way as the TS.

No, the V6 is not prone to failure in this way as far as I'm aware.

Re: 156 Crank issues

The V6 isnt known for bottom end failures.

If they do occur, the shells are normally all thats needed.
