Upgrade Xenon lights

Does anyone have any experience of Upgrade Xenon lights. I replaced headlights (dipped and main beam) with them as they said they were "legal" and 50% brighter. Now when driving at night almost completely useless,do not illuminate sweet FA, although look OK and normal from outside car.

I upgraded the Spider lights with HID xenons. Have a search- there's plenty of threads here...

Re: Upgrade Xenon lights

I upgraded my 156 to blue tinted xenons and thought the same, looked good from outside but for driving with no better than standard. They do seem to pick out reflective surfaces like roadsigns etc at a greater distance but for general visibility not great.

I've since replaced them with super bright bulbs from halfords (own brand) when they were on BOGOF. These are much better all round.
