Thumbs Up Code p1235

Been having a nightmare start to the year i thought i would ressurect the Alfa from its sleep (2 years) All went well with a new battery and service but it was only when i went for a drive i realised something was amiss.
There was in effect no turbo pulling me along and virtually no torque so i had it plugged in to a mates snapon device and it came up with P1235 turbo pressure signal. Now a guess between me and him that it was the MAP sensor turned out to be wrong and today joy of joys i found a split pipe.
Hope this helps others out, on mines it was the rubber pipe that comes from the turbo actuator and goes into a plastic pipe that runs up the centre of the radiator.A quick snip of the offending pipe and a replacement cut from a spare length and voila its now back to running the way it should HAPPY DAYS
