Jason, do you have a part number for the cowling? (156 not 147)

Cheers,

Dan

P.S. Oh and thanks for the congratulations, I hadn't even realised. The next K is a biggy!

I had cruise controll 2003 147 lusso 2.0 It worked fine until I had to replace the clutch master cylinder, when it came back from the machie...yes...it DIDN"T work.

read about it and aparently it happens when working on the clutch...so I'll have to get someone to just do what you say here on my car for it to work again...wait my slave cylinder is busy going on its way out so I'll tell the ALFA machie to do the cruise controll thingy as well!

I need to get both the stalk and the cowling for my 156. Anyone willing to list the two parts on ebay (easier payment process) for me including postage to Botswana (registered airmail)?

Fitted mine & works a treat (December 03 build 156 JTS Veloce). Everything went OK except the new cowling was a right sod to get on correctly...

I can confirm that this also worked on my 09 147 Collezione. Great thread and thanks guys!! Wish I had read it through first could have saved some money by buying my parts from Donalds though. I paid 16 for the Cowl and 50 for the Stalk.

Still... cheaper than a dealer fitted cruise control :-)

Hi Jason, I just got the package from the postoffice this afternoon. Looks great and thanks for all the leaflets you included! If possible I will do the fittings these evening or tomorrow and give you some feedback. Great packaging!

I am sorely tempted to do this after going through 6 junctions of 50mph and average speed cameras in Wales last week.Spent 90% of my time looking at the speedo instead of the road....but hey, that's road safety for you

I will probably wait for a bit though and let my finances recover after doing cambelt and brakes in the last couple of weeks

Donalds Alfa, for when I'm ready, could you give me an up to date delivered price for the cowling and stalk please, for a 1.9 16 valve Veloce. Cheers
