Definitive 147 Rear Screen Wash Failure Thread
Guys, for all of you 147 owners who have a rear washer that has stopped working and is just filling your boot up each time you try to use it:
To get into the underside of the cover - there are 7 white securing pins. Find the first couple along the very edge of the bottom of the boot lid and as you prize them off, you can start to see where the rest are. These pull free from the 7 yellow anchoring holes on the inside of the boot lid. If you spread the load and pull evenly around each securing thing, it should pop off/out fairly easily.
Do it one at a time - the last couple will probably fall off.
Ignore any threads that say there are hard-to-find screws - there aren't - just 7 plastic cheapy securing pins that will pull off, if you're careful but firm.
Don't forget, before you attempt to remove the cover, there are 4 securing screws to get out first - easily found.
And hey presto - no more cracked covers!!!!
