Its about 3-4 days work to change in a proper workshop. Engine and box out from below, swap the ancillaries/transmission over, back in from below and then its a matter of reinstalling the battery/tray, air intake system, exhaust, refit front subframe etc.
The annoying bit is that the engine loom is all part of the car loom, so you have to plug everything in after you've got the engine in, rather than say a Twinspark where you have a built up engine complete with the loom all plugged in. Routing the wiring loom correctly is a pain - I would suggest making notes, labelling stuff and taking lots of photos before you take it apart.
