Chipping? Is it worth it?

anybody any strong thoughts on the re-programming of ECU's or chipping for 156's? I'm tempted as it seems such an easy, clean way of getting a bit more performance out of an already good car but I'd like to hear peoples opinions.

So any good or bad experiences? Let me know pro's or con's.

Try the search function. Must be two dozens threads on the subject. That should keep you busy for the next 4-5 hours!

Re: Chipping? Is it worth it?

Its a bit subjective on normally aspirated cars, but has dramatic imporvements on turbo diesels.

Most can be remapped via the OBD port rather than chipped BTW.
