GT 1.8 Blackline

GT service history

Hello all,

I am currently in the process of trying to sell my GT 1.8 Blackline and am wondering if it can be classed as having a full service history?

It is a 07 plate but the first service appears to be in 2010 after 18000 miles. After that it has been serviced annually but currently only has 34000 miles on the clock. I am going to speak to the dealership where I assume it was bought tomorrow to see if it was in fact serviced before then.

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't call a 3-year gap "full" when the interval is every year...

Full means full. I get p!ssed off going to see a car with "fsh" which turns out to have gaps in it.

I'd be very dubious with that car only having 34000. Its a known trick to not service a car for the first 3 years until the first mot. They rack the mileage up and then change the clocks for a lower mileage as the real mileage won't be recorded without services or mots.

Yep that winds me up as well, especially when you drive 100 odd miles to view a car

Mine had been serrviced at home by a mechanic, so no stamps from new until i owned it, toughie as he clearly looked after the car and had bills ect to prove it, but I'd like to have seen some more stamps. 2 years later havent regretted owning it though
