147 GTA buying advice

I am considering changing my 147 Selespeed for a secondhand GTA. Any advice on differences in model years and what to look for (other the FSH etc) would be greatly appreciated. Does the 3.2 V6 have a healthy appetite for oil like a TS?

Re: 147 GTA buying advice

My GTA hardly used any oil, at least at UK speeds.
German autobahn speeds were another story!

Get one with the big brakes if possible, see the ultimate GTA brake upgrade thread for details of how to spot the difference.

If you aren't going to track the car you certainly could live with the 305mm ones if necc.

Check the CV joints by doing a tight turn at full lock under some power (don't have to boot it).
Listen for clicks.
Do it in both directions.

Listen for creaks and rattles in the suspension over bumps in case the bushes are worn.

I'm not a doctor - but I really do recommend braking later
