: Totally false economy, if you are a private owner, who intends keeping the vehicle in good condition for a lengthy period of time.
The extended servicing claims IMO are balderdash!
Primarily to indicate the servicing charges are reduced to save costings to non-private purchasers. Three years on, or mileage related record, replace said unit.
If you are a private owner, and cherish your vehicle, wishing to minimise wear and tear, and the eventual expense thereof, drop that lubricant out,(transmission etc. as well!) change those filters, and disregard the claimed lengthy, srtetched, over the top, service recommendations. If it's on the 'Firm' don't bother, you will have it replaced, no worries! Off to the auction she must go!
