156 2.4jtd slave cylinder removal

My car had been leaking fluid recently so stripped out the battery and tray and could see the boot on the slave cylinder had been ripped and the slave was dripping fluid out of it. My question how do you remove it.....there appears to be 2x 6mm bolts holding the bracket to the gearbox.....very difficult to get at sohow did you loosen them? Or is there another way to get the slave out? Thanks

Big circlip around the front of the cylinder as per the 1.9 JTDMs ? Remove clip and cylinder slides out of mounting (or should, likely stuck with corrosion).
