Re: 156 2.0 v 156 2.5 V6 - What are the real differences?
I haven'y driven a 156 V6, but I owned a 155 widebody V6 (OK it's only the 12v). The V6 used more fuel than any car and Alfa I've owned. I got 18mpg on a good day. Normally about 16mpg. Sounded great but wasn't that much quicker than the 2litre in a straight line and defo didn't like corners as much despite having expensive uprated suspension on it.
Before buying my 156 I asked myself the same question.....basically the fuel consumption and cost of belt changes (I can do the 2litre myself) made me plump for the 2litre.
