Oh yea, sorry purple145, im not very technical so sorry if i get bits wrong, a nut made of steel on the bearing shaft was loose and had worn a pinhole in the casing of the softer aluminium actuator. This was causing the pump to constantly try to gain pressure. The gauze that collects swarf from the actuator was in the wrong way so swarf had gone through the pump and knackered my second (new) pump.(also burned out due to over working).
It also needed some of the connections from the ecu replacing as they were not making good contact and were throwing up errors.
So its had a new actuator, new pump, all ecu codes cleared and prevented from reappearing. For the MOT new rear discs, pads and 2nd hand calipers and hand brake cables where it had sat for 6 months awaiting repair. (sitting for 6 months not to do with Autolusso) they repaired mega fast.
