Got a call from Kwik Fit yesterday about my alignment
They want my phone number for the area manager to give me a call – they appear genuinely concerned about my alignment being 34 minutes out after their work!
I drove 500 scary motorway miles on the alignment. When I ended my journey I saw both front wheels pointing the same way.
My suspension is now creaking and clattering like mad, much worse than before.
When I start my journey, the steering wheel is not central. After 20 minutes of travel, the wheel aligns itself.
I am wondering if the bad alignment has caused the front wheels to splay out and damage the suspension. My guess is I will be needing new top and bottom wishbones.
What are your thoughts on this before I tackle Kwik Fit about this? (Note – KF do not to alignment, I went to a KF owned garage who offers this service).
