My new Lambada arrived today at last. It is a Bosh.
I checked the error codes first and codes P1172 and P1173 have not come back.
But did have the following codes for the lambada:
1: P0170 - Lambda sensor integrator
Fault status: Signal too high
Engine speed: 1040 rpm
Engine load: 1.550 ms
2: P0130 - Lambda sensor
Fault status: Open circuit
Engine speed: 1640 rpm
Engine load: 3.700 ms
Removed the old lambada sensor. That was a mission took me about three hours to undo all those stupid cable holders. I'd like to meet the alfa designer who thought these where a good idea
The old sensor was black as soot.
Put in the new sensor and didn't bother with most of the cable holders.
Did an ecu reset with the MES and then took her for a drive. This was done from cold. The engine seemed to be going better. Stopped after 10K and save the trace. Checked for any error codes there where none. Drove another 5k all seems to be well. Still no ecu error codes.
Will check it in a couple of days to see if any codes have a appeared.
had a look at the first csv file I save after 10K still seems to be a lot of, "Bottom Limit" and "Rich" messages not sure if this is correct or not.
the csv for the second trace had more "Lean" messages than the first, but still a lot of "Bottom Limit" and the occasional "Cold" message.
If I could work out how to attach files to these messages I would.
If any body would like me to send the MES csv files let me know what your email address is. I would be interested to hear someone elses opinion on the traces.
