Smokey 156 2.4 JTD
Every time i start the car after leaving it for 2-3 hours the exhaust emits a good amount of blue smoke for 5 seconds or so it also struggles to run on its 5 cylinders for the same period.
If you gently rev the car it emits more blue smoke.
I`ve put this down to valve guide wear!
The only problem is the head has been completely stripped and replaced with new parts due to a cam belt failure and was only replaced on the car 3 days ago.
There was always a tiny amount of blue smoke on start up before but never this bad.
Ive spent good money on the repairs (£1100) and did not expect this.
The car runs fine once warmed up.
Any ideas before i thrash it with a branch basil fawlty style
