Ok, took it to the garage today, the fitters inspected it and said it was well made and highly polished to a very good quality finish, they said it was a pretty piece of fabrication.
It took an hour and a half to remove the old and fit the new, no glitches other than one fitter snapping off an old bolt which had to be heated up and drilled out, this wasted twenty minutes. I was charged £25 + vat.
The fit is excellent, as a direct fit should be. The noise is not quiet, but not too loud and it has a very deep baratone rumble going on and gets higher pitched up the rev range. It's a little too loud for my liking as I'm used to Ragazzon, but the fitter said it'll quiet down a bit once it cokes up as it's clean hollow tube right now.
