Hmmm Alfas & Ball Joints

Ok mates,

I had an dilemma since everyone here HATE the suspension parts designers from Alfa because of robbing us to buy whole part just for a failed balljoint ... i am not an expert but i thought maybe you can clear thing more for me, i mean ppl went to Moon for sure we can find a way how to realize this.

On the lower wishbone it says that ball joint spec are M14x1.5. So i google it, and found some things like DELPHI TC1022

More Information for DELPHI TC1022

My point is, i am sure that there are a lot of different types of ball joints out there and the most expensive one is 10-15 euros. Can some of them (like the one i posted before) be compatible with existing wishbone, or maybe some little modification to make a thread on the wishbone for the balljoint ect...

Thanks for reading ... hope to have some discussion ...

You might be able to ... most only fit the original OEM lower arms ... some replacements come with different pins

We stock PowerFlex bushes for the Alfa 147

There are different pin sizes for the bushes to fit onto. They would need measuring either 20mm or 21.3mm

We also stock the TRW lower suspension arms complete with bushes and ball joint.
TRW are the OEM supplier.
