@ Gertie: Yes, that graph is from a 1.8 TS. The engine runned very sweet, never missed a beat. At the moment the engine is waiting to go into my 146 racer. That still has a standard 1.8 but I want more track miles under my belt before I put in the stronger engine.
The C510.5 gearbox is very strong, I never had problems with it. The only weak point is the diff, if you spin your inside wheel to much you might blow it up.... And never install a sport/race clutch with loads of torque. I know a guy that had 350Nm out of his 2.0 TS and he ripped a few gears apart because they couldn't cope with the shocks of the sport/race clutch. If the car is for track only I'll keep the shorter gearbox but if you are going to drive it mainly on the street I would get a 2.0 gearbox. On my 145 I had the pretty short 145 1.8 box with a longer 5th. It did 80-120kmh in 3rd in 4 sec flat and 238 kmh in 5th on a Navigation device but than it ran into the rev limiter... :-D
@ spresv: Maybe the MAF on my 1.8 runned out of range because it had an older motormanagement. It ran on the old M2.10.4, that might had someting to do with it. As you can see on the power graph, there was nothing wrong witch the setup, maybe a bit to rich but that's all.
@ Nenori: Nice manifold and downpipe! How much power and torque? Any problems with the lamda's that used to be in front of the two pre-cats? If you don't than that might be the way forward for my future turbo project.
