Alfa 147 Seats - removal and fitting

Hi there,

An engine oil can leaked in my boot a few months ago, and I've been 'managing' the problem ever since. However it has gotten to the point now where the oil has penetrating the foam in my back seats and oozes oil onto whatever (or whoever) sits on them.

After some internet searching and a couple of weekends of frenzied scrubbing, soaping, talc-ing and vacuum-ing I have given up. They will never be free of the oil.

Evidently this now turns my sensible family hatchback into a large 2 seater, which is no good.

So now I must find replacement seats - a) where is the best place to look? and more importantly:

b) How do I remove the rear seats and then fit some new ones?

Many many thanks for your help,

Seats just unbolt. Hex bolts visible in the boot, lift the floor carpet up. The bottom of the seats hinges from the front, again, hex bolts.

Take you about an hour max to do all the seats.
Pretty standard set of tools and usually the bolts are OK as the 147 shell is quite guarded where the bolts are so usually free from rust.
