GT clutch life & drivers door
Took possession of a 57 reg Q2 diesel this weekend gone.
Very good nick, 2 owners from new.
But the clutch is biting pretty high up.
I guess being hydraulic that there is nothing can be done, but does 52k miles seem a bit early for a new clutch? If it does end up needing replacement, are they a DIY job in your own opinions?
Also the drivers door sits a smudge low and rides up probably 1mm or so on the latch. But you can feel it needs a good shove to close it. There is no movement in the pin so looks like it has just dropped. Thoughts on best approach?
A) open the door and through a heavily padded and careful pad, jack the door up a touch.
B) shim the hinge.
C) another idea?
