Yes, provided we are talking about a 16v 155, not a chain-drive 8v. You need to use the 156 manifolds, and for appearance sake, and ease of wiring, the 156 top covers and coil packs etc.
Essentially all the 16v engines, whether in 145, 145, 147, 155, 156, 166, Spider, GTV are mechanically identical, engine size for engine size, in respect of block/crank/rods/pistons/head/cams. The 155 has a couple of extra tappings in the sump for oil temp and level sensors, but otherwise, no issues.
