Changing speakers & Headunit in GT
I have seen a few threads about changing speakers in the 147/GTA and I know it should be pretty similar, but just wanted to check if there is anything I should be aware of before I start to swap the speakers in my GT. I am putting in some Infinity componants front and rear (they were in my 156 previously) and know I will need spacers for the main drivers and that some owrk will be needed to fit the tweeters.
Do the door panels and rear panels come off in a similar fashion to the 147?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated
Also, I have just finished fitting my Pioneer DEH P77MP head unit and have used an Autoleads 147 fascia adaptor as they did not list one for the GT. The finish and fit of the adaptor is terrible! It is nothing like the same shade of silver as the rest of the centre dash and it sticks out below the head unit by about 5mm.
Is the GT slightly different to the 147 in this respect or is it just a rubbish adaptor? Isthe Alfa one the same as I have read on here that it does not fit that well either?
