I am still running the same slave cylinder as before the conversion and although the bite point is maybe just around halfway, but it seems to be fully engaged to fully open in a smaller pedal movement than with dmf,it is lower than before the change to smf. (Clutch and dmf were shot!)
Has the bite point got higher on yours or has it always been high?
Mine will slip if I put my foot on the pedal, but doesn't slip in normal use(or abuse!)
Were all the bushes in the clutch fork greased?and the clutch pedal pivot and the pushrod into the master cylinder?found it helped a bit on the old clutch.
What make of clutch did you fit?I have heard bad things about some of the cheap ones, like lasting less than a year
I cant say if changing the slave or just shortening the rod will help,as I haven't tried it,I guess in theory it would?
