Remap info

Apologies if this is against the rules or usual workings of the forum but for those interested in getting remaps done there's some very useful information being discussed in the GTA/GT section here......

Basically the two main remappers in the UK have joined in!

Well, I don't think so, if it is a mild remap. With a mild remap I've read that the engine might last 5% less time than without a remap, but I didn't read any real proof of that.
The problems that are linked with remaps are normally excessive turbo or supercharger pressure, but with very wild remaps (like a VAG 1.9 TDi from 150 to 220bhp).
You can expect 30% increase in Turbo or supercharged cars, and 8 to 12% in N/A engines. If you see something beyond these numbers it's either a lie or an excessive remap.
