Be fair, Mike M, but I think Charlie8 is only pointing out that some faults are so minor that it's more bother to get them fixed than to live with them, that's all. If davesel's problem with his hatch is the same as on our 147s, it's not much of an issue to just unlock the car before opening the boot, is it? All of pressing two buttons instead of one, that's all.
Okay, they shouldn't happen, these small faults, but in the real world if I have a tiny glitch with my 147 and it can wait until service, I'll let it wait - I'm self-employed so no car and no courtesy car (i.e. ALWAYS) means in practice no income for me on a given day if my car goes into the garage. Maybe Charlie's in the same position?
