Over the past few days my exhaust has started blowing a little, I have had a look under the car to see which section has an issue however I wont be able to tell properly until I can get it up onto a ramp.
I have been thinking of upgrading the back section of the exhaust to a dual tip Ragazzon one anyway but just haven't really had the spare cash to spend however if it needs replacing I will probably go with the one at the link below.
50.0106.17 - ALFA ROMEO GT 3.2 V6 24V (177kW) 2004>> | Ragazzon
As I am still unsure about what part of the exhaust system is causing the issue I asked a mate of mine who runs a place that fits tyres and exhausts to price up the different bits for me, he probably doesn't deal with many Alfa's as a rule but from his suppliers these were his prices.
2X Front pipes £75 each
Middle Section £282
Back Section £480
I think these prices are including VAT, not 100% sure though.
For people who deal with these Alfa's every day are these prices about right?
Like I mentioned earlier I am looking to add a dual tip exhaust to the back of the car anyway to improve sound and the look of the car however if its not the back section that needs replacing am I best off going for aftermarket parts like Ragazzon anyway? After all they don't seem any more expensive, but are they better quality?
Also if I was to order Ragazzon parts can anyone recommend the best place? Gazella Racing looks the cheapest but I have seen some nasty threads about them and now I'm unsure about ordering from them.
Any advice would be appreciated.
