Another positive vote from me, although I've only had my GT about 6 weeks, so I'm still at fluttery eyes & giggling stage every time I see my Bella
I've got 3 kids, ages 12, 9 & 7, and all are tall for their age. I'm 6'2", and the wife is 5'10", and we all fit in fine.
The GT is officially the wifes car, as I've got a firms car, which is a Mondeo Estate (or sportywagon etc
), which is obviously much roomier than the GT, but if we're going out at weekends, if I ask any of the kids which car they want to take, it's unanimous every time, they all love the GT!
The wife uses the car every day on the school run, taking all 3 of the kids, and lately our niece too, and we don't get any complaints from any of them. And we took both cars to do a birthday pary run the other week, and when it was time to get in the cars, there was a queue of kids stood jostling for position by the GT, and just 1 by the Mondeo
If we were to go on holiday in this country for any great length of time, then we'd take the Mondeo, just for the extra luggage space. But we're all going to a friends for the weekend (East Mids to Oxford), and we're intending to take the GT, as we'll only need a couple of cases, and they should fit in the boot... just.
I can see where some folk are coming from, regarding having to stoop into the back to do the car-seat thing, but mine are old enough to do their own seat belts, so I don't have that problem.
If I were regularly going long distances, or had to carry pushchairs etc, then I might think twice about it, but for me (and my family) the GT is just fantastic
