Don't worry - it IS just the compressor cutting in and the engine fuelling up ever so slightly to counter the extra (fairly large) load - hence the slight lumpiness. You may also be able to detect a slightly different engine tone and in the dark, you may see your lights fluctuate slightly as the compressor cuts in and out.

Hi MH ALFA... the relay that controlled the ac next to the battery had to be replaced and while I was at it I had it recharged by the local cost about 120 all in...worth it though...keeps the cabin nice and cool...
