Sorry I didn't mean to offend and say it was a bad price. Its just scarey how much it costs for parts new out the box and how much labour is.
On my twinnie I have had to replace 3 in the last two months (Mainly becasue they are end of life and failing slowly) but I picked up a coil pack with 4 in and another spare for £20 all inc.
Then changed them myself and reset the errors on the ECu.
Taknig a penum off is easy enough it just takes time. Its not awkward. I'd always say if you have a few basic tools to have a go. If you played with Lego as a kid you can definetly work on cars for something like a coil pack.
Think most people are a bit scared as they don't know what the parts are and where they go. With wires and bits everywhere its easy to get scared.
anyway enough of my ramblings. Hope its all well and running nicely though.
