Help 156 Electric window problem. Help.

My 2002 156 2.0's passenger front window has stopped working completely. Ive checked fuses all ok, ive checked motor and its ok, is there any kind of control unit somewhere, or any other suggestions, im loathe to send it to alfa to be charged an arm and a leg.

Re: 156 Electric window problem. Help.

Mine went on the drivers side.

The loom apparently runs under the front seats and then somehow goes to behind the glove box where the window relays are (2002 156 2.0 TS - RHD). I got it fixed at the local auto electrician who ran a new wire for the 'up' side of the drivers door window, £165.00 thank you v much.

Mine was a dead short as it kept blowing the fuse so maybe yours is not so bad. Check the relays I would suggest

Could be the regulator, this is the the cable driven device that actually raises and lowers the window within the door.
