Re: 147 service

The service interval is every 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. What did you have done last time?

Re: 147 service

If you've not had the cam belt changed already then it may be advisable to get that done. 60,000miles until a belt change on the twin spark is leaving it a bit long and it's generally recommended to do it every 30,000miles to avoid expensive engine damage.

There are far too many instances of these twin-spark engines snapping cam belts and causing all sorts of damage! Don't put it off!

Expect 300 for a cam belt change and you may want to get the variator and auxillilary belt changed at the same time.

If you want to get your belt changed then maybe consider the Alfa Workshop, based in Essex:

199 for a cambelt change including tensioner, idler, fitting and VAT is an absoloute bargain!
