I totally understand you! I Have a 147 , and I have also looked into NCAP and other stuff.
That's why I have this rule:
- One thing is a car, another an "Automobile" :-)
Have a good "automobile" to transport yourself and the kids, and get a "car" if you like driving
If you want safety for you and family - Buy the latest car on the market. You don't really have to like it! :-) One that has stuff like EBD (VSA - anti rolling) as a standard (New law nowadays).
A 2014 ****ty car is safer all around then a 2000 good car. (of course there are exceptions)
For instance, if I would have to crash I would rather be inside something as a new Dacia Sandero, than my beloved 147.
