Alfa GT Oil Cooler Pipes & Rear Brakes

Hi All,

As i understand it this has been discussed here before, however I'll put this out there.

Had my car in for a service at Mclennens Garage in loanhead* and two points that were noted were the oil cooler pipes and rear brakes.

I had a look at the pipes when it was over the pit and they are far from bad and I don't anticipate them leaking any time soon. (Phew). However I'd like piece of mind and I'm aiming for longevity on the car.

So I had planned to use waxoyl or hammerite on them? Can anyone advice on how easy this will be from just doing it in the drive?

Also back disks are rusted as the car must have been somebodys second car previously, these are straight forward to change. However what are the best pads/disks to use?

Again thanks for all the help!!

* highly recommended alfa garage for anyone near edinburgh!
