Climate control stuck on hot.
Still trying to get my climate control working, here is what has happened so far:
1. Bought Alfa 147, didn't realise heater was stuck on the hot setting
2. Took it to an Alfa specialist, they diagnosed it as some motor being faulty, and replaced it.
3. That didn't work, they said it must be the climate control panel, but they couldn't get a 2nd hand one as they're hard to come by (it's the single-zone manual climate control).
4. I sourced a climate control panel for a reasonable price, and fitted it.
Now I can hear the motor moving (or doing something) when I turn the temperature dial, but still only getting hot air. The odometer is flashing, so I know it needs the proxy aligning.
Does anyone think that re-aligning can-bus network is going to fix it? As the motor sounds to be moving I'm sceptical. I can't think what else it could be now though.
