147 1.9 8v Clutch & Flywheel.
So, I've had a lot of work done to my Alfa to keep it on the road. It's been problem after problem, it was off the road for 2 years, was my dads prior.
Worst problem so far is a hole in a pipe, from the turbo or something. The pipe was £110!
I'm unsure of what the part is called, but it's part of the clutch and it's like a little pump thing. That had to be replaced due to it leaking, which made it unable to go into gear unless I pumped the clutch a few times. Anyhow, that part was £35, fixed the problem.
Now, it's gone **** up once again. Can't get into gear what so ever. My mechanic says that it's maybe the Flywheel or the clutch. It's done 74k miles.
He's going to phone me Monday and let me know the cost including labour. He's a friend of the family and he's been doing most of the work so far.
Anyone had problems of this sort with their 147? Mines an 04, 1.9 8v JTD Turbo Diesel.
Takes the **** this car does. So much has gone wrong, going to need to get a credit card probably with this new problem.
