Re: side repeaters

Done mine last week, I used a section of Coke Cola plastic bottle, slide it behind the repeater from the rear and gently push toward front of car they should just pop out, i broke both my old ones but i wasnt in the best mood at the time but i didnt scratch the car so it seems to work!!

Re: side repeaters

There is no need to break them. They slide backwards (towards the rear of the car). There is a small slot at the front and you need a small - electrical type - screwdriver to gently lift it as it is pushed back.

Re: side repeaters

As Paul, I did not break when I did on my 147, but I used a teaspoon with a cloth around the end so lift and 'scoop' out rather like you would do with a melon the thought of using a sharp object and slipping brought tears to my eyes!!

A credit card slid behind works good too

Re: side repeaters

yep, slide backwards, no need for tools a finger will do, they come out easy.

If you try pushing them forwards they will break because the flexible clip is on the back end...

Re: side repeaters

Just got myself a set of crystal black repeaters to replace the orange standards.

After failing miserably using brute force and a pair of marigolds for grip, I found this thread and used the recommended credit card technique which did the job. Cheers fellas! They were very, very tight though - found this job more difficult than replacing the front bulbs!

However, my bella looks far better adorned with her new livery! Funny how sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest improvements.
