Front Brake Discs, advice please

I need a new set of front discs for my 156 v6. Unfortunatly a bunch of other stuff also needs to be done, cam belt change being one of them so I've got a very limited budget. I was just going to get a set of "standard" vented discs but when I was looking at the buypartsby website I saw these drilled and grooved discs: buypartsby

Now they are very cheap which while appealing to my scottish nature, does make me worry about the quality

Anybody here tried them? If so what did you think, worth a pop or should I just stick to the standard discs and upgrade when I get the money together to do it properly?

Re: Front Brake Discs, advice please

it all depends on how much money you want to spend on your brakes...

what you could do is stick with standard discs and get some ferodo ds2500 brakes pads as a lot of peeps have them on here already and swear by them.....if you do a search for ferodo or ds2500(sp) on here, it may help you

i got some red dot 20 groove discs and fast road pads from

Re: Front Brake Discs, advice please

I bought my drilled and grooved discs from here.....

when i ordered them they were very helpful (you could have a conversation as opposed to a lot of parts depts), delivery was quick and ive had no problems.

I got the standard ones from buypartby and they are fine. Mine are Lucas Delphi parts so good name should = good quality.
