Best induction location II

Following on from the 'best induction location' thread I'm keen to get feedback/constructive criticism on the way I've fitted a BMC CDA to my 156 TS - pics below.

The silicone hose makes contact with the top radiator hose over a small area - is this likely to cause a problem?

It probably looks a bit bodged together to some of you!

Re: Best induction location II

one thing for ya, that blackish pipe comin from radiator gets very hot, heat travels nicely, put some heat shielding around that pipe or around the induction intake pipe, keep that cold air cold... other than that, not bad at all.

cant see the bottom, is it a tight bend into the CDA box? if so, try to get rid of the bend as much as possible, smoother lines allow easier air flow
