156 Power Steering Resovoir

Just noticed on my Power Steering resovoir (Red Cap) there is a hole in the centre, looks as if it should have some kind of pipe attatched. Can any Twin spark 156 owners look at theirs for me and let me know if they have a pipe and if so where it goes. Just looks odd as it is

Thanks in advance

there's a hole on my power steering reservoir cap, too, with a small little cover, like a plastic pin. no pipe coming out.

Re: 156 Power Steering Resovoir

Mine has a small red 90-degree outlet fitted with a short length of pipe to lead any excess fluid away from the pump. The pipe is clipped into the edge of the pump cover.

But it does tend to "ping" out occasionally!
