Re: Selespeeders Only!
Of course just braking by itself with the left foot is useful in its own right, but I have a question for LFBing Selespeeders.
On the Selespeeds does the ECU cut power to the throttle when you are braking?
i.e. if you are doing "real" left foot braking for corner balancing you are applying (probably steady state) throttle at the same time as braking.
I am curious if the ECU reduces the electronic throttle input while the brakes are applied.
(i.e. whether it can be used to adjust brake bias)
The GTAs ECU seems tolerant, but I thought the ECU seemed to "interfere" on my brothers 156 2.4 JTD (old model) and the revs would die suddenly once you braked beyond a "mild" level.
I didn't experiment too fitfully with it since it wasn't my car.
I'm not a doctor - but I really do recommend braking later
