Can anyone help solve this mystery?....
Left my 147 in for its 72000 mile service yesterday - car in good shape before service, no warning lights etc. After service, notice that the airbag warning light is staying on.
Also, as soon as I got in the car after the service I noticed someone had been working near the passenger air bag (dashboard dusty, and trace of hand/finger marks left around air bag panel but not elsewhere). Wondered at the time what needs done near the passenger airbag on the 72000 service (?), but didn't think any more about it until noticed the warning light a bit later on. Perhaps a connection?
Is there an innocent explanation for this or is something dodgy going on? Don't expect my car to come back from the garage with MORE warning lights than before! Would really appreciate some advice - arm myself with a bit of info before ringing the garage back.
