After months of waiting and spending the last 2 weeks looking i picked up my baby this morning!
2000 W 156 2.0TS Veloce in Dark Met Blue (Looks Black)
First impressions on the 30 mile trip home WOW!!!! So much different to my 1.6 Zafira! At last a real car that makes me smile when im driving. I have posted a couple of pics from the seller i will be spending next weekend cleaning and will post better pics once this is done!
Oh and a big thanks to 156GTASW for the lift down to the car and all the helpful guidance its really appreciated mate!!!
On any reasonably surfaced windy roads these are very good indeed, and I enjoyed my 5 years with one greatly.
They do everything they can to involve you inthe driving experience,
only downside is perhaps they involve you a bit much on very poor roads
Well owned it 1 day, cant get road tax till next week (awaiting insurance documents) so spent the afternoon washing/waxing it. Not the best polish availabe (Mer) but it was lying in the shed, been there 3 years so thought id use it!! Looks 10x better already!!! Just need to get the fornt bumber blown in, bloddy stone chips and she'll look nice!!
Got it Taxed last night and went immediately to the nearest Dual Carriageway/Roundabouts I could find. After driving a 1.6 Zafira for 18 months being able to go round roundabouts at anything more than 10 mile an hour did feel good!!! Managed to hit the rev limiter once and that is something I know i should avoid! But i just got carried away in 2nd the engine just seems to want to rev forever and it handles incrediable, hopefully after the new tyres/trackings done the weekend it will handle even better!! So much fun from a 2.0 4 door family saloon.
