My selespeed finally died!
The car started to play silly people on Saturday, decided to occasionally plop into neutral and stay there. Anyway, refilled the oil and all seemed well.
Today it dropped into neutral for the first time in 150 miles, and locked there. Nothing happened. It has now been trailored over to Motorvogue in Northampton to be looked at and fixed.
Am very very unhappy. However, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Britannia rescue for taking in there.
I phoned, the guy arrived in about 15 minutes, said it was well beyond his ability to sort out, where would I like it to be taken. I said northampton, we sorted directions from the service desk at Motorvogue and off it went. No fuss, no long wait no arguements.
Selespeed = Fun, but almost certainly pricey.
Britannia rescue = Good service, no quibbles.
Hope the 156 will be back soon.
Next car will be a Ford Mondeo ST220 or Focus ST170. Won't be making a costly mistake again.
