Alfa romeo 156 q-system sportwagon

Can someone tell me what the pitfalls of buying one of these would be and what I should look out for if I get the go-ahead to get it?
It's a 2001 with 93k miles on it.

Plus all the other usual pitfalls that go with any 12 year old car - bits wearing out, general maintenance, etc. Good news is the engine and box are fairly bulletproof - your biggest issues are likely to be front wishbones or anti roll bar bushes. If you're handy with spanners, probably no worse than any other 12 year old car, and a lot better than some.

Q-system, with the V6?

Biggest issue probably wiping the grin off your face from time to time........

Filling it with fuel might do that if you do a lot of town work.....

Not an Alfa :-(

I have viewed and test driven this car and can confirm it is in superb condition and drives without fault. The only reason i decided not to go with it was the need for it to be my every day car, its far to good tor that! The idiots in my office car park would wreck it!
